The Throne is a blend of Gunpowder Green Tea, Lemon Balm, and Lemon Verbena. Gunpowder Green Tea derives its name from its physical appearance and how it reacts when steeped in warm water. This tea comes in the form of a pellet, and is also referred to as Pearl Tea. Once boiled in water, the "pellets" burst open. Some health benefits of this Gunpowder Green Tea include boosting the immune system, weight loss, detoxifying body, soothing arthritis, preventing tooth decay, and fighting heart disease.
Lemon Balm has a delicate lemon flavor and is known for its calming effects and is used to treat anxiety and indigestion.
Lemon Verbena also has a light lemon flavor and health benefits include reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system, calming the stomach, and clearing congestion.

BREW INSTRUCTIONS
Add 1 teaspoon of tea to your infuser or tea bag, then place in 8 ounces of boiling hot water. Allow to steep for 2-3 mins. (Optimial Brew Temperature 180° F) .
Our 0.5 ounce will produce 3-6 cups of tea, our 1.0 ounce will produce 6-12 cups of tea. After the first cup of tea, we recommend re-steeping and reusing the tea leaves for a second cup.
EXPERIMENT
We encourage our tea drinkers to experiment with the tea flavors by brewing at varying temperatures, allowing to steep for different times, and adding your choice of sweeteners (or not) & milks. Keep in mind, teas have optimal brewing temperatures that are intended to maximize the distinct flavors of the teas, without burning or "overcooking" the leaves.
